Our next movie isn't too Far, Far Away! It's just up in Bogart! We played Shrek a few years ago and it's time to turn the meadow into a swamp again for the hit movie, Shrek 2!

Join us at Bogart Regional Park in Cherry Valley and enjoy free entry to see Shrek 2! Our friends at Home Depot will be bringing 240 craft kits with them, so bring the kids early and let them build!

We'll have food and drink options, so get here as early as 6 p.m. to enjoy the pre-show fun! The sun will set around 8 p.m. and the movie will begin soon after that, when it's dark enough to see the screen.

One thing we at BCVParks love to see is how many families get here before the sunset, settle into their spot and just let their kids run around and play on the grass before the movie begins. We've seen many families playing catch with balls and footballs on the grass before the movie, and we LOVE IT. But we'll have some activities and giveaways for you, too!

The Beuamont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District (soon to be called the Pass Area Recreation and Park District) is proud to be able to offer free and affordable events for families in our Pass Area communities. Bogart Regional Park is located at 9600 International Park Rd, Cherry Valley, California. How to get here: From Brooside Avenue, head north on Cherry Avenue. Cherry Avenue will head toward the hills and veer right, turning into International Park Rd. You will see our entrance there, and you'll get into the park free for this event (usually the cost is $10 per vehicle to enter Bogart Regional Park). If your map tries to navigate you into the park using Winesap Ave, it is WRONG. There is no entrance there.
