Bogart Regional Park was selected as the Outstanding Renovated Facility at this years CARPD Awards of Distinction ceremony in Monterey, California. Thank you, CARPD (California Association of Recreation and Park Districts)!
The awards ceremony was held yesterday, June 24, 2021 and our General Manager Duane Burk, Board of Directors Chairman Dan Hughes and Director Denise Ward were there for the excitement!
We are honored to have Bogart Regional Park, a local gem, on our list of facilities and we are so proud of the work put in during the past two years to bring it to where it is today. We’ll keep on improving this park we all love while striving to keep it the Bogart our community has enjoyed for decades. Just about everyone at BCVPARKS has some type of unique adoration for Bogart and the role it played in their childhood. Did you know our GM Duane Burk actually caught his first fish here at Bogart at the age of 11?
